How to validate a link

Learn how to use ValidateLinks to check your affiliate redirect URLs. Enter a link, run validation, and review status codes, redirect chains, and network detection.

ValidateLinks helps you verify that your affiliate or tracking links redirect correctly and reach the intended destination.

Steps#

1. Open the Links tab on the home page.
2. Paste your affiliate or redirect URL into the input field.
3. Click Validate Link. The check may take up to 20 seconds while we follow redirects and detect networks.
4. Review the results: each hop shows the status code, final URL, query params added, and (when recognized) the affiliate network.

Sharing results#

After validation, the page URL updates with an encoded version of your link. You can share that URL so others see the same result without re-running the check.
